Mary Adams is a thought leader in the emerging field of intangibles, which today represent the majority of value in companies in all sectors of our economy. She is the creator of the Intellectual Capital Knowledge Center, an Internet resource where companies learn to profit from their intellectual capital portfolios. She also publishes a monthly newsletter highlighting the latest in the field of intangibles.

She is a co-founder of Trek Consulting, a firm based outside of Boston that helps companies grow and deal with changing markets. Prior to consulting, she had a career as a high risk lender. This dual experience in banking and consulting has helped her develop a unique approach to the challenges of the knowledge economy.

Mary’s firm is a member of the international network of firms that perform intangibles assessments using the IC Rating tool. To date, this network has worked with over 300 firms in service, technology and traditional industries to help them better understand and leverage the growing intangible side of their businesses.
